Main Events has announced that they have struck a deal for heavyweight contender Tomasz Adamek (50-4, 30 KOs) to face Eric Molina (24-3, 18 KOs) on April 2nd in Poland. The fight will be made available in the United States and Canada via PPV, distributed by Integrated Sports Media, for the price of $29.95.
"Every time Tomasz fights back home in Poland we get numerous requests from his American fans who wish to watch the fight here," Main Events promoter Kathy Duva said. "We are so excited to be able to provide them with an opportunity to watch this exciting fight here in the U.S."
In addition to Adamek-Molina as the main event, the card with also feature two cruiserweight bouts including Mateusz Masternak (36-4, 26 KOs) going up against Eric Fields (24-3, 16 KOs), and Michael Cieslak (11-0, 7 KOs) taking on Francisco Palacios (23-3, 14 KOs). Both of these fights are scheduled 10-rounders.
Adamek, 39, is most recently coming off a win over Przemyslaw Saleta last September after dropping two consecutive decisions to Artur Szpilka and Vyacheslav Glazkov the year before in 2014.
Molina, 33, is coming off a stoppage win over a 5-8-1 opponent in Rodricka Ray last October after having been KO'd by Deontay Wilder a few months earlier during a Showtime-televised card.
