I really didn't want to post this story yesterday, but - Adrien Broner is back in jail. After just posting bail for his charges of assault and robbery from an incident at a Cincinnati bowling alley, he was found guilty of violating his probation on Tuesday in a Hamilton County hearing. Broner was arrested for driving under the influence last July -- a charged that was later reduced to reckless operation of a motor vehicle, to which he plead no contest -- and was put on six months' probation.
Yesterday's hearing was not related to his felony charges, but Broner showed up to plead guilty to the probation violation and immediately began serving a 10-day sentence. The reason behind the probation violation has not yet been disclosed.
On the felony charge front, to which Broner had pleaded not guilty, he has a scheduled court appearance tomorrow to determine if there is sufficient evidence to indict him on the charges. Clearly he won't be hard to find.
