Following his fourth round stoppage loss to Andre Berto earlier tonight, some fans -- at least one -- in Carson, California, were pretty upset with Victor Ortiz for whatever reason, and one even threw what appears to be a box at Ortiz as he walked backstage after the bout.
Here's the video:

A mild fracas breaks out with security jumping in on the spectator in question, and Ortiz's trainer, Joseph "Hoss" Janik squares up on the fan to protect his fighter, who was blindsided by the whole thing, obviously.
The response in the building when Ortiz was stopped was certainly not favorable, especially since it will be seen as him "quitting" again. The crowd was totally in his favor during the pre-fight introductions, booing Berto pretty heavily, as Ortiz had home field advantage in California.
In case it needs to be said, don't throw things at fighters after fights. Or during. Or before. Or ever, really.
