Tyson Fury spoke with Kugan Cassius of iFL TV yesterday, following cousin Hughie Fury's win over Fred Kassi. He discusses that fight, giving his honest thoughts on Hughie's performance, and then says point blank that his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko on July 9 will be his last fight.
It is a bit surprising, but at the same time, not really, because it's Tyson Fury, and it's boxing, and Tyson Fury says a lot of things, and boxers always say they're retiring, then they don't. But here's what Fury said about it, taken from the video above:
"It'll be halfway through June or something before I'm even in shape. I gotta kill myself in the gym to get my weight off."
"To be honest with you, I'm well sick of it, to be honest. It's going to be my last fight, I think. Shit or bust. All in, I think. I mean it. It's shit or bust, all or nothing. All chips are in.
