Bad Left Hook Podcast #65 (May 11, 2016): Canelo-GGG, Mayweather-McGregor, more

On today's show, we discuss the Canelo Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin situation, the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor "situation," and Amir Khan.

Howdy doody, boxing friends, it's Wednesday, and that means it's podcast time again here at the ol' Bad Left Hook web site. Today's show is me, talking, as per usual, and here are the things I talk about:

  • Canelo Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin: will it happen? Will there be any bending on a catchweight, but a catchweight regardless? Will Canelo and Oscar De La Hoya not recognize the public truly demanding this fight? Will enough people excuse Alvarez from the fight? For Canelo, is there more to lose by actually losing to GGG, or by not fighting him at all?
  • Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor: because the world says, "WE'RE INTERESTED IN THAT!" and I have no choice but to dignify that interest, because I am running an internet property that needs the eyes and ears of the world's dopes, as well as you, the very smart person.
  • Amir Khan: what's he do next?

Here's the show. Thank you for listening! Back on Friday!
