One of the things that Adrien Broner is in life is a rapper. And today, he's released a new song called "Slammer," where he takes some shots at Floyd Mayweather and The Money Team. The video is up above, and probably goes without saying, but in case it doesn't, NSFW language and all that.
Broner (32-2, 24 KO) was seen for years as Mayweather's protégé, or at least that's how he talked about himself, and that's what he seemed to really believe, and that's how media portrayed him. But the two have had a clear falling out over the last couple of years, culminating in Broner and Mayweather trading verbal punches this year, ahead of and after Broner's win over Ashley Theophane, a Mayweather Promotions fighter, on April 1.
After that fight, Broner called out Mayweather (49-0, 26 KO), who is currently pretending to be retired while amusing himself with the idea that he might fight UFC's Conor McGregor for a nine-figure payday.
