It's a big night for the junior middleweight division on Showtime, as three world titles are on the line from Las Vegas, headlined by a rematch between WBA titleholder Erislandy Lara and Vanes Martirosyan. Live coverage begins at 9 p.m. ET.
Lara (22-2-2, 13 KO) and Martirosyan (36-2-1, 21 KO) fought to a technical draw in 2012, a frankly ugly and largely unpleasant fight to watch, and now will do it again with a world title on the line.
Jermall Charlo (23-0, 18 KO) will defend the IBF title against Austin Trout (30-2, 17 KO) in what is on paper the stiffest test of Charlo's career. And his twin brother, Jermell Charlo (27-0, 12 KO) will face John Jackson (20-2, 15 KO) for the vacant WBC junior middleweight title, which has been an inactive belt since Floyd Mayweather's rematch win over Marcos Maidana in 2014, where the WBC allowed the 154-pound belt to be defended alongside the 147-pound belt. So the title hasn't really been contested in an actual junior middleweight fight since Mayweather beat Canelo Alvarez in 2013. That's a long time.

ERISLANDY LARA vs VANES MARTIROSYAN
Round 1: Close opening round, not pretty, but anyone who saw the first one isn't expecting pretty. Martirosyan with a pretty good start here. He's aggressive and looking to keep Lara uncomfortable, which is a change from the first fight. Martirosyan 10-9
Round 2: Better round for Lara here, slipped some shots nicely, landed some shots, Vanes is there with him. This is going to be a frustrating fight again. But so far not as bad as the first, and not bad at all. Just, you know, an awkward style matchup. Lara 10-9, 19-19
Round 3: Vanes with a hook to the body, then a right up top. Hook to the body again from Vanes, counter up top from Lara. Right hand from Vanes. He's fighting well here. Another left to the body. Lara with combos upstairs, but they're being blocked. Hooks again to the body from Vanes. Right to the body from Vanes. Lara touching and moving, mostly. Martirosyan 10-9, 29-28
Round 4: Vanes letting Lara keep the pace Lara likes -- or, well, even not fighting great, Lara is keeping the pace he wants. But he's winning this fight, too. Vanes is, I mean. It's not very good, but he's more active and doing what he can to press this. Martirosyan 10-9, 39-37
Round 5: Martirosyan's body work has been the key thus far. He's banging away. Lara doesn't like it. Vanes really targeting the body now. If it's working, it's working, and it's working. But I like Lara's matador act a bit more this round. Lara 10-9, Martirosyan 48-47
Round 6: Lara landing some crisp shots this round. Vanes still trying to get to the body, but Lara has the pace he wants and has a bit of a groove right now. Lara 10-9, 57-57
Round 7: Vanes back to the body again, trying to assert himself, following Lara around. Lara on his bike a bit more now. Better round for Martirosyan. Martirosyan 10-9, 67-66
Round 8: Very sharp left from Lara snaps Vanes' head back. Lara sticking and moving very well this round. Crowd booing, but that doesn't last long. Vanes trying with the body attack again, but this was a Lara round. Lara 10-9, 76-76
Round 9: Vanes with an uppercut. Some real nice pressure from Martirosyan here, throwing multiple uppercuts and a body shot. Lara with a left, Martirosyan right back with body work. Lara with better work now, but Vanes chops away at that thought with a nice flurry late. Martirosyan 10-9, 86-85
Round 10: Heads collide early. Fight is more of the same. Lara overselling a body shot as a low blow. A bit low, but Paulie says that Lara pushed Vanes' hand down there, too. As action resumes, Vanes just hurls himself at Lara. Martirosyan had a nice round here. Martirosyan 10-9, 96-94
Round 11: Oh Jesus, Dracula is taking a point from Martirosyan for a low blow. Chippy fight now, both guys seem to really hate fighting each other. Which is logical. It's a miserable style matchup, neither of them can do what they really want. It's two guys frustrating each other. Lara takes this round, and the extra point is big. Lara 10-9, -1 for Martirosyan, 104-104
Round 12: Lara with a couple clean potshots, Vanes makes a big charge but little of it gets in and nothing of major substance. Martirosyan throwing everything he's got. Lara taunting him. Vanes bites and plays into that, too. Vanes with another flurry, more defense from Lara. Lara fighting this round like it's all in the bag. Vanes fighting it like he needs it. Martirosyan 10-9, 114-113
JERMALL CHARLO vs AUSTIN TROUT
Round 1: Trout jabbing to the body, Charlo trying to jab up top, Charlo caught with a nice counter shot by Trout. Uppercut from Trout. Nice little exchange, Trout lands a left up top. Charlo landing good shots a little more consistently. Trout slips as the feet get tied up somewhat. Charlo with a good jab, Trout misses a counter hook. Charlo 10-9
Round 2: Charlo with a hard jab to the head, Trout looking to the body a little bit. Trout jabbing now, Charlo with a little charge, they tie up against the ropes. More tactical boxing in the second round, still a solid fight. Not great action, but interesting. I edge to Jermall again, just by a bit. Charlo 10-9, 20-18
Round 3: Charlo with another good power shot that stings Trout a bit, but Austin resets and is still right there. Another stiff right hand catches Trout. He's getting just a bit sloppier this round, or Charlo is getting sharper. Glass half full or empty? Your call. Trout trying to snap out jabs from distance, not landing. Good round for Charlo, did some damage. Charlo 10-9, 30-27
Round 4: Trout sort of trying to bang with Charlo. Trout with a left inside. Good body shot from Trout. He's having a nice round here, Charlo not active and not landing much, Trout doing a bit more. I liked Trout this round. Trout 10-9, Charlo 39-37
Round 5: Trout aggressive to start this round, throwing in combination, landing some little shots. Charlo's right hand lands twice, and gets Trout in a spot of trouble, but the veteran spins out. Charlo with another quick right and a hook comes in, too. Trout banging back in close now, whacking to the body. Trout swelling around the right eye. Nice hook from Trout. Chopping right from Charlo. Charlo with more charges to close the round. Charlo 10-9, 49-46
Round 6: Charlo walking Trout down more this round. Trout's biggest problem tonight has been the physicality of Charlo, a better puncher with a bigger frame, but they both weighed 165 tonight on the unofficial scales. Slower pace, though. Charlo catches Trout with a hard shot, then the heads collide, which hasn't been too bad a problem. Trout with a good hook and a left behind it. Charlo 10-9, 59-55
Round 7: Tight round here, but Trout landed some good lefts, the best punches in the round, I think. Charlo did land a good shot late, but I like Trout this round. Trout 10-9, Charlo 68-65
Round 8: Kind of a game of chicken this round, but with who attacks first, not who moves first. Charlo lands a couple good shots, Trout lands a couple good shots. This one was close again. Trout 10-9, Charlo 77-75
Round 9: Another tight round here. This has been a good fight. Not a thriller, but well fought and competitive on both sides. Low output round from both. Trout's right eye really swelling up. I edged to Trout again here. I assume I've got it closer than most. Trout 10-9, Charlo 86-85
Round 10: HEY! A little exchange about a minute in here, some good shots from both guys, Trout maybe getting the best of this. Trout is cut now, who knows from what, they've been banging around in there. Trout countering really well in this round. Trout with another round here, and I have it even. Trout 10-9, 95-95
Round 11: Trout has sort of lulled Charlo in this fight, quietly doing very good work. He's getting off first more often. Jermall is there, but he should be doing more, I think. Another good combo from Trout, ends it with a solid left to the head. Trout with the jab. Charlo with a hard uppercut right at the bell. Trout 10-9, 105-104
Round 12: Trout with a big left hand early. Charlo whacking back with a right, both guys tense after a fast start to the round. Round and perhaps fight in the balance in the final minute. Shot over the top from Charlo. Another right gets in from Charlo. Another good right from Charlo. He takes this round and my card is even. Charlo 10-9, 114-114
JERMELL CHARLO vs JOHN JACKSON
Round 1: Jermell with a couple of missed swings early. Lots of swings and misses early from Charlo, trying to load up on shits. Jackson staying on the outside, not attacking a lot. Jermell misses a right hand. Jackson with a nice left hook, he caught Jermell coming in there and tried to get a flurry in, but Charlo calms it down pretty quickly. Nice opening round for Jackson. Jackson 10-9
Round 2: Good left to the body from Jackson. Uppercut from Jackson, not quite there, but it was a good idea. Jackson is really doing nicely here. Charlo landing a jab now and then but his power shots are off. Jackson with some body work. Jackson with a chopping right. Jackson 10-9, 20-18
Round 3: Charlo targeting the body a bit more now, a good idea given how much Jackson has been moving around. Charlo still having a lot of trouble figuring Jackson out, which is a bit of a surprise. A close round, as was the second, tactical fight where Charlo is probably hiding some of his better work by missing so intensely. Charlo 10-9, Jackson 29-28
Round 4: Jackson still frustrating Charlo, who just can't cut off the ring, and is trying too hard to land power shots. Jackson with some nice little counters here and there, getting the better of the exchanges. Right hand from Jackson that stings Charlo near the end of the round. Jackson 10-9, 39-37
Round 5: Jackson again with a nice couple of body shots. Charlo just can't get the beat on this fight right now. Jackson is fighting smoothly and confidently. HARD hook from Charlo, though! Jackson got caught there. Jackson shaken just a bit, but he resets and starts going back to his jab. Charlo gained some confidence from that shot, though. Finally landed one of those big swings. Charlo 10-9, Jackson 48-47
Round 6: Charlo is really not good at cutting off the ring. He's not out of this fight or anything but that's something to work on going forward for sure. Jackson moving a lot again. Back to work for him this round, he's made the adjustment. Good jabs. Jab from Jackson, Charlo back with a decent hook. Better round again for the underdog. Jackson 10-9, 58-56
Round 7: Charlo out with a lot of purpose right away here, but once again Jackson avoids the charge and sets it back to the pace he wants. Jackson still potshotting away, continuing to give Charlo a world of trouble. Jermell just having a terrible time here. He's fighting out of his element. Jackson 10-9, 68-65
Round 8: Charlo lands some good shots early this round, again coming out with purpose. Let's see if he can find more -- CHARLO HAS JACKSON HURT AND IT'S OVER!!! OH MY! Charlo TKO-8
