Floyd Mayweather Sr: Canelo would be in Khan's shoes in a fight against Golovkin

Floyd Mayweather Sr gives his thoughts on Canelo Alvarez, Amir Khan, and Gennady Golovkin.

On what he thought of Canelo Alvarez

"I think that Canelo was losing, because Amir Khan was sorta moving on him, but I told everybody it doesn't make a difference how long he runs, because whenever Canelo hit him, that was gonna be it."

On Canelo vs Golovkin

"Well, that's a little bit different. I don't know about picking Canelo in that particular fight. But I did pick Canelo to beat Amir Khan, but I don't know about Canelo beating GGG. That'd be a tough fight for Canelo. Canelo would probably have to do what Amir Khan was doing to win, but you gotta keep it up. You can't caught in the process of moving around and dancing. Then all of a sudden you lose focus on what you're doing. You get caught up, you're in trouble."

On the knockout

"The knockout was impressive because Khan was winning the fight, but I knew -- I just figured, I didn't know when he was gonna really catch him, but I knew it was gonna happen sooner or later."
