Roman Martinez and Vasyl Lomachenko are set for tomorrow night's HBO main event from The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with each man making weight for their WBO super featherweight title clash.
Martinez (29-2-3, 17 KO) weighed in at 129.8, with Lomachenko (5-1, 3 KO) weighing in at 129.6, both just under the 130-pound limit. Martinez is defending the title, which he won for a third time last April against Orlando Salido. Lomachenko is moving up from featherweight, where he has reigned as WBO titleholder since beating Gary Russell Jr in June 2014.
Their fight is set for 12 rounds and will be the main event and second of two televised fights on the HBO broadcast, which starts at 10 p.m. ET.
In the co-feature, lightweights Felix Verdejo and Juan Jose Martinez will do battle in a 10-round bout. Verdejo (21-0, 14 KO) weighed in at 134.8, with Martinez (25-2, 17 KO) at 133.8, both under the 135-pound limit.
Bad Left Hook will have live round-by-round coverage of both fights tomorrow night.
