Keith "One Time" Thurman and "Showtime" Shawn Porter are good to go for tomorrow night's PBC on CBS main event (technically, Showtime Championship Boxing on CBS presented by Premier Boxing Champions, but y'know) after making weight today in Brooklyn.
Thurman (27-0, 22 KO) weighed in at 146 pounds even, a pound under the limit, while Porter (26-1-1, 16 KO) had to strip down to make the 147-pound limit, but he made it all the same. So the fight is set, the WBA title is on the line, and we're just a day away from one of the most highly-anticipated fights of 2016.
In the co-feature, Jarrett Hurd (17-0, 11 KO) and Oscar Molina (13-0-1, 10 KO) both made weight. Molina, 26, weighed in at 154.8 pounds, with Hurd, 25, at 153.8. The limit for the fight was 155, or 154+1, or Caneloweight.
Also weighing in was super middleweight prospect David Benavidez (14-0, 13 KO), who may see time in a swing fight. He's set to face Francy Ntetu (16-0, 3 KO) in an eight-round bout. Benavidez weighed in at 168.6, while Ntetu was at 170 even, the limit for the fight.
