BLH Pick'em Results: Season 32 - Week 5

Well the crazy pick'em season continues. Apart from 9 players scoring 15 or more this was pretty dismal week, especially for the overall leaders with 4 of the 5 scoring in the negatives. This week was so rough that the overall leader's score is actually lower this week than it was last week.

This week's big time pick was clearly a multiplier or Kovalev by decision—a triple on that netted one lone player a huge 38 points on that alone. Triples on the over in Kovalev/Chilemba and a lone triple on Juarez accounted for most other points scored this week.

This week's winner is aldogg2121 with a damn fine 44.5 points on a 5 for 6 week with perfectly placed doubles on Kovalev by decision and the over for Kovalev/Chilemba. This result pushed aldogg from 23rd all the way to 5th place and just 11 points off the overall lead.

The rest of our weekly top are as follows: 2nd place - GoRDoPolis with 44, 3rd - burgundyron with 38,  4th - Radu with 30, and in 5th - Hunger For More with 26.5.

Big changes in the top 5 overall. We had a leader change and 4 new faces. The top 5 are as follows: fizzlefazzle - 87.5, burgundyron  - 84.5, TheDemolitionDan - 84.5, GoRDoPolis - 77.5, and aldogg2121 - 76.5.

Well this just goes to show that any given weekend can completely change the complexion of the entire game. With half a season to go this thing really is wide open. The entire top 10 is separated by less than 20 points and pretty much anyone in the top 30 or so is still honestly well within striking range. All you need is a couple good weeks to turn it all around.

On Tap: Pretty big weekend on tap. We will have a full sheet for sure. We have action from from Germany and Mississippi on Friday as well as pretty significant fights from Germany, the UK and Alabama on Saturday.
