Deontay Wilder: Gennady Golovkin is being a hypocrite

Deontay Wilder gives his take on Gennady Golovkin taking on welterweight champion Kell Brook.

In this video interview with FightHub, WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder shares his thoughts on the newly announced Gennady Golovkin-Kell Brook fight. Check out some excepts below.

"I'm like everybody else, [Golovkin] is being a hypocrite...he just said the same thing about Canelo and Khan, but you doing the same thing though, you know what I mean? But who am I man, you know. Yeah I'm the champ but I'm not a [judgemental] type of person, at least I try not to be. I express my opinion if need be and I'm the type of person that when I do express my opinion I speak my piece.

"Sometimes people can get overwhelmed by certain things, or sometimes they can say things that they ain't know they gonna regret later on because I always tell people, all the time, because they always look at athletes like 'why he spending this money, why he doing this, why he doing that, why he having sex with that stripper with no condom?' I always tell people all the time, don't ever say what you would or wouldn't do if you ain't in that situation. If you had a whole lot of money you don't know what you would do...

"...so whatever these guys wanna do, if [Golovkin] wanna be a hypocrite, hey, go be a hypocrite and whoop that ass."
