With just a month to go before Kell Brook faces Gennady Golovkin at London's O2 Arena, both men were required to undergo a weight check with neither man being allowed to be more than 10 percent over the weight limit of 160lbs. Both Brook and Golovkin hit the scales, and both were within required range.

But as it so happens, Brook actually weighed-in significantly heavier than Golovkin at the weight check -- with Brook tipping the scales at 176lbs (right at the 10% limit), while Golovkin weighed-in at 165lbs.

"I'm feeling fantastic and I am this weight because I want to be this weight. I am eating non-stop and I am able to push myself very hard in the gym," Brook told Sky Sports News HQ.

"I am these extra few pounds because I want to be these extra few pounds and I want to be this heavy. I will be bringing the speed as well as the power into this fight."

Meanwhile, Golovkin says he also ready to be in optimal condition come fight night, stating that he's at his perfect weight of 165lbs one month before a fight.
