Rio 2016 Olympics boxing live coverage: Day 14 (August 19)

We draw ever close to the end of the boxing competitions in Rio, with another gold medalist crowned today.

The first women’s gold medalist will be crowned today in London, as Jinhua Yin of China and Estelle Mossely of France close day 14 of the boxing in Rio, which also features semifinal action for the men’s flyweights, light welterweights, and super heavyweights, and the women’s middleweights.

Men’s flyweight (52kg) - Semifinals

  • 1:00 pm: Shakhobidin Zoirov (Uzbekistan) vs Yoel Finol (Venezuela)
  • 1:15 pm: Misha Aloyan (Russia) vs Jianguan Hu (China)

Men’s light welterweight (64kg) - Semifinals

  • 1:30 pm: Vitaly Dunaytsev (Russia) vs Fazliddin Gaibnazarov (Uzbekistan)
  • 1:45 pm: Artem Harutyunyan (Germany) vs Lorenzo Sotomayor (Azerbaijan)

Men’s super heavyweight (91+kg) - Semifinals

  • 2:00 pm: Tony Yoka (France) vs Filip Hrgović (Croatia)
  • 2:15 pm: Joe Joyce (Great Britain) vs Ivan Dychko (Kazakhstan)

Women’s middleweight (75kg) - Semifinals

  • 2:30 pm: Claressa Shields (United States) vs Dariga Shakimova (Kazakhstan)
  • 2:45 pm: Qian Li (China) vs Nouchka Fontijn (Netherlands)

Women’s lightweight (60kg) - FINAL

  • 3:00 pm: Jinhua Yin (China) vs Estelle Mossely (France)
