Three weeks out from Canelo Alvarez vs. Liam Smith, Golden Boy has released the lineup for the online-hosted prelims, featuring a bevy of young prospects and local favorites. Most notably, Sadam Ali will make his first appearance since getting knocked out by Jessie Vargas last March when he faces designated victim Saul Corral.

Other fights of note include Eddie Gomez, Zachary Ochoa, and Anthony Yarde.

Ali (22-1, 13 KO) dominated and ultimately stopped the extremely tough Juan Carlos Abregu in 2014, which set up a shot at the vacant WBO welterweight title two fights later. The aforementioned Vargas proved a little too much, however, and wound up putting "World Kid" down with a vicious right hand in the ninth.

He ought to have no issues whatsoever with Corral (22-7, 13 KO), ranked 751st by BoxRec. I mean, props to Oscar and co. for having a consistent theme with the mismatches but dang.

Anyway, you can catch the early fights on Golden Boy’s Facebook page and the others on ringtv.comGoldenBoyPromotions.com, or HBO’s YouTube page if you’re so inclined. Is anyone so inclined?
