BLH Pick'em Results - Season 32 - Week 9

Another comically bad week. We only had 10 players score better than 10 points. This challenging weekend of results does, however, set up a very dramatic finish.

NOTE - Alejandro Luna vs Stephen Ormond was cancelled. All picks are null and all multipliers returned.

This best scoring pick of the weekend was a double on Ward by decision for eight points. The most widely picked point scorer was for a favorite to lose or draw on the UniMas card which scored seven points. (Egor Mekhontsev drew against Alexander Johnson) The worst picks of the weekend were triples on Ward by stoppage and for the knockdown pick in that fight losing several pickers 11 and 12 points, respectively.

This week's big winner is luddite101 with 36 points on a 6-for-7 week with a well placed double and triple that all scored the best points of the weekend. This result moves luddite from 4th place to 2nd and within a single point of the season leader.

The rest of our weekly top are as follows: 2nd place tie - Dlewis and johnny_0 with 24,  3rd - Hunger For More with 22.5, and in 5th - uksb with 20.

Things are tight with only one week to go. The top 5 are as follows: tmac1991fg - 179, luddite101  - 178, uksb - 171.5, Dlewis - 161, and aldogg2121 - 137.

This "challenging" season has led to a very dramatic finish. Everyone in the top 4 has a very good shot at the title. The championship will likely come down to the most strategic use of multipliers and smart picking. BIG DRAMA SHOW.

On Tap: A very slow week to end the season, but I will do my best to make it worth our collective while. We will have action from New York on Friday as well as fights from Mexico and Florida on Saturday.
