Middleweight destroyer Gennady Golovkin returns today in London, where he’ll face undefeated welterweight titleholder Kell Brook in a curious matchup, with a couple more world title fights on the Sky Box Office undercard.

The Sky PPV coverage in the United Kingdom starts at 1 pm ET, while HBO in the United States will pick up the main event at 5:30 pm ET. We’ll have proper round by round coverage for the main event.

Golovkin (35-0, 32 KO) will look to make it 23 straight wins by stoppage, and he’s coming off of a brutal KO-2 of IBF mandatory challenger Dominic Wade on April 23. Brook (36-0, 25 KO) won the IBF welterweight title two years ago, but has had a rough go finding major opponents. When the Golovkin offer came in, he jumped at the chance, with little to lose.

For more on that fight, check out both our regular preview, and Tom Craze’s excellent breakdown.

On the undercard, Lee Haskins (33-3, 14 KO) will defend the IBF bantamweight title against Stuart Hall (20-4-2, 7 KO), a rematch of a fight from 2012, where Haskins won a wide decision to claim the European title. Also, John Riel Casimero (22-3, 14 KO) will defend the IBF flyweight title against Charlie Edwards (8-0, 3 KO), plus Callum Smith, Paul Smith, and more will be in action.

ROUND BY ROUND

GENNADY GOLOVKIN vs KELL BROOK

Round 1: Brook is apparently going to stand toe-to-toe with Golovkin. That gets him hurt pretty badly about halfway into the round on a left to the body, but he hangs on and survives, then lands some good shots down the stretch. GGG looks too strong, but Kell is game. Golovkin 10-9

Round 2: Well, this is turning out to be a fun fight early, at least. Brook's speed is making a difference, and he's landing some good uppercuts. Some really good stuff in the second from both guys, but I liked Brook here. Brook 10-9, 19-19

Round 3: Uh oh, GGG looks furious that he lost a round, and he's coming out with a hard rush and some big shots. Golovkin takes this round, but Brook did good work again late in the round, and GGG may not have the energy he needs. Golovkin 10-9, 29-28

Round 4: Golovkin is in a tough fight right now, but he's doing more damage and winning the rounds, to me. Brook is fighting very well but the power difference is still the real difference. Golovkin 10-9, 39-37

Round 5: GGG putting money into the bank with body shots. And Dominic Ingle throws the towel in as GGG is wearing Brook out a bit. Odd, but hey, there it is. Golovkin TKO-5
