After 'mental issues' forced Tyson Fury to pull out of his contracted rematch with Wladimir Klitschko, Fury's title status moving forward is now a point of interest. Of the three titles Fury currently holds, the WBA said yesterday that they are awaiting official medical documentation on Fury's condition from his team before deciding what to do with his title status. But they do admit to WBN that stripping him is a possibility.
"It is a possibility that Tyson Fury could lose his title but we don't have any official communication from Hennessy Sports on his medicals," President Gilberto Mendoza exclusively told World Boxing News.
"Once we receive the information we need, we will make a decision moving forward," he added.
In the meanwhile, Anthony Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn appears to be trying to jump on the opening in Klitschko's schedule by expressing his interest in a Klitschko-Joshua title fight.
Reached out to @Klitschko team - we love the fight! @anthonyfjoshua https://t.co/AGWWikjXTe

How about it, fans? Do you Joshua is seasoned enough for a Klitschko fight, or is a fading Klitschko ripe for the picking?
