Kell Brook takes some time to chat with the media about this weekend's fight against Gennady Golovkin and how he's preparing himself. Here's what he had to say when fielding questions from reporters...
On keeping himself composed leading up to this big fight:
"You've got to be professional, I've had 36 fights now. You can't let the magnitude of this fight get to you this early on. We know what's coming, it's about being relaxed and just enjoying everyday and enjoying all the fans and the attention - but holding it off until fight time."
On his hero Naseem Hamed coming to see him during his media workout:
"You know, that means a lot to me. I've grown up watching Naz as a young kid when I first walked into the gym. I'm in the biggest fight of my life and he's come out to show his support - it's like a family down at the Ingle Gym...I'm excited to perform in front of my fellow training partners."
On attempting to eclipse some of his hero's accomplishments:
"It's an amazing feeling, how the tables have turned. I'm not that 9-year-old kid, I'm a 30-year-old kid and coming into the biggest fight of my life. It's everything I've always imagined, and it's here now and I can't wait to get in on Saturday night and to show myself what I can do..."
