PBC on Spike - Jacobs vs Mora II: Live streaming results and round by round coverage

Daniel Jacobs and Sergio Mora meet again tonight, and Robert Easter Jr faces Richard Commey for a vacant lightweight belt.

Scott Christ is the managing editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2006.

Tonight at 9 pm ET on Spike, Premier Boxing Champions returns with a doubleheader from Pennsylvania, featuring WBA "world" middleweight titleholder Daniel Jacobs in a rematch against Sergio Mora, and a vacant lightweight title bout.

We’ll be here with live round by round coverage for both fights.

Jacobs (31-1, 28 KO) is the big favorite tonight, but Mora (28-4-2, 9 KO) is a crafty veteran who gave Jacobs a minor scare in their first fight last year, a bout that was truncated in the second round when Mora injured his ankle. Both fighters had been down in the opening round.

The co-feature for the vacant IBF lightweight title will see top prospect Robert Easter Jr (17-0, 14 KO) of Toledo, Ohio, take on Ghana’s Richard Commey (24-0, 22 KO). This is a really intriguing matchup between two guys wanting to take that next step and win a first world title, one a highly-regarded young fighter and the other still something of an unknown.

For more on the fights, check out our preview, and join us this evening!

* * * * *

Round 1: uuuuugh Sergio Mora is fighting like Sergio Mora. Jacobs 10-9

Round 2: Jacobs slips, then comes back to hurt Mora. Then nothing happens. Jacobs 10-9, 20-18

Round 3: This is the fight everyone expected the first time. Jacobs 10-9, 30-27

Round 4: Mora gets dropped late in the round. This fight is dragging so badly. Jacobs 10-8, 40-35

Round 5: Mora gets dropped late in the round again. Jacobs 10-8, 50-43

Round 6: Mora getting hurt again a bunch this round, falls twice but both ruled shoves. Jacobs 10-9, 60-52

Round 7: Another knockdown about a minute into the round. Knocked down again with 1:16 left in the round. Another knockdown and it's finally over. Jacobs TKO-7

Round 1: Commey throws a bomb of a left hook right away, but misses. Easter trying to jab from outside, throws a right that lands. Commey trying and failing to get inside. His right hand is too slow so far. Easter coming forward in the final minute. I liked Easter this round. Easter 10-9

Round 2: Commey trying to work to the body, which is a good idea. He's letting his hands go early here, and Easter is wrestling with him inside now. Easter to the body, Commey to the head. Grappling in the corner now, referee breaks them but gave them chance to work out. They're trading shots with Commey on the ropes and landing. Now center ring, Commey lands a good right hand that stings Easter, and both guys fall over tangled up. Easter starts jabbing again late in the round. Might not like that inside fight. Commey's power is real. Commey 10-9, 19-19

Round 3: Commey is really finding a home for his right hand now, countering Easter a good bit. This is an interesting fight so far. Easter trying to box more this round, but Commey has found a rhythm, too. Commey 10-9, 29-28

Round 4: Easter boxing a bit more effectively, I'm going with him in this round. He's settled it down just a bit. Commey now has to adjust. Easter 10-9, 38-38

Round 5: Easter finding a home for a nice uppercut from range, an awkward punch hard to defend. Commey slowing down some and Easter's speed is making a big difference. Easter 10-9, 48-47

Round 6: Easter has really started to take this fight over. Not dominant, but he's figured out what works for him, and he's stopped doing what didn't. Commey has to adjust, quickly. Easter 10-9, 58-56

Round 7: Easter laying back a bit in the first couple minutes this round, allows Commey to scratch out a round. Commey 10-9, Easter 67-66

Round 8: Commey stings Easter with a hard shot, gloves touches the canvas, and the referee calls a knockdown! That's a big point. Easter back with a hard right of his own, and he's trying to get that point back. Love it! Commey 10-8, 76-75

Round 9: Firefight to start, then Commey catches Easter with a couple clean right hands. Easter with a charge now! And now Commey turns it around and pops Easter clean! Easter 10-9, 85-85

Round 10: Well, Easter has proven he has a chin. He's taken some hard shots from Commey. Easter trying to box and calm it down. Tough round to score. Commey landed the best shot and Easter didn't do a lot. Commey 10-9, 95-94

Round 11: Easter looking a little tired, which isn't a huge shock, this is the deepest he's ever had to go in a fight, and he's been cracked with some big shots. Easter with a hard right hand. The jab has fallen away for him, which has been a problem. Commey 10-9, 105-103

Round 12: Easter coming out throwing bombs and DRILLS Commey with a right hand! Commey's legs dip but he stays up somehow! Commey badly hurt and somehow staying up and able to hold! Easter really beating up on Commey here. Commey clinching a ton. He survives. I'm going 10-8. Easter 10-8, 113-113
