Mike Tyson signs on to train Chris Brown for Soulja Boy fight

The fomer heavyweight champ will take on training duties for R&B singer Chris Brown.

In a celebrity boxing match that’s already taking plenty of twists and turns, former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson announces that he’ll be manning the corner for Chris Brown as he gets ready to fight Soulja Boy on PPV.

Adrien Broner, who sort of pitched the whole idea to stage this feud as a boxing match, apparently has been left out in the cold as he has his own upcoming fight to tend to. Floyd Mayweather will be handling the promotion of the celebrity fight, which is now being targeted for Dubai.

The bout had originally be planned to be held Stateside, but various rules and regulations made that nearly impossible — including mandatory drug tests which you can imagine neither were likely to pass.

And since we’re now officially blending boxing with the music industry, it’s only right that Mike Tyson releases his own diss track aimed at Soulja Boy.

And regardless of how ridiculous this whole thing seems, there does appear to be a genuine belief that this event can rake in some serious dollars...
