PBC on Spike - Lara vs Foreman: Live streaming results and round by round coverage

Erislandy Lara takes on Yuri Foreman in tonight’s PBC on Spike main event.

Tonight at 9 pm ET on Spike, Erislandy Lara returns to defend his WBA junior middleweight title in a trash fire main event against Yuri Foreman, while Anthony Dirrell returns in the trash fire co-feature against Hungary’s Norbert Nemesapati.

In the trash fire main event, Lara (23-2-2, 13 KO) takes on a guy who hasn’t beaten a decent opponent in about seven years, back when Foreman (34-2, 10 KO) was still getting warm PR stories printed because he’s a Rabbi or was a Rabbi or was going to be a Rabbi or something. He’s won six straight, but all in club-level fights since back-to-back lopsided losses to Miguel Cotto and Pawel Wolak, the latter of which came in 2011.

In the trash fire co-feature, we’ll see former WBC super middleweight titleholder Dirrell (29-1-1, 23 KO) take on Nemesapati (24-4, 17 KO), a fighter with an incredibly empty record who is 0-4 in fights outside of Hungary and Slovakia. You may recall him getting whacked around the ring by Callum Smith last year.

We’re not going to do proper round-by-round because the upside is these fights are both short wipeouts, and the downside is several rounds of me going “this is like the last round,” but here’s a post for us to talk about the fights, anyway, since, you know, it’s a “world championship” card, truly the elite of boxing brought to us by Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions. Hooray!!! Big-time boxing is BACK!
