Spike, 9:00 pm ET, Erislandy Lara vs Yuri Foreman, Anthony Dirrell vs Norbert Nemesapati. This card is trash. Foreman hasn’t fought anyone good in five years, since Pawel Wolak beat the crap out of him, and Nemesapati is a fluffed up local fighter who was crushed by Callum Smith last September. What a way to kick off 2017! BLH will have live coverage.
TyC Sports (ARG), 10:00 pm ET, Marcelo Fabian Caceres vs Jorge Daniel Carabello.

SHO Extreme, 7:00 pm ET, Amanda Serrano vs Yazmin Rivas, Ievgen Khytrov vs Immanuel Aleem. HEY! Look, SHO Extreme has a better doubleheader than PBC on Spike the night before, not even counting the good fights on SHO proper later in the evening. Serrano-Rivas is the first women’s world title fight on national U.S. TV since 2007, and it’s great to see SHO taking an interest in the women’s side of the game. Khytrov-Aleem is a solid prospect matchup, too. BLH will have live coverage.
SHO, 9:30 pm ET, Badou Jack vs James DeGale, Jose Pedraza vs Gervonta Davis. Jack-DeGale is, as mentioned before, basically an eliminator to see who the best super middleweight in boxing is right now, unless you favor Gilberto Ramirez, which you can certainly argue. Pedraza-Davis is for a 130-pound title and a real test for Davis, a Mayweather fighter with a lot of hype. If it weren’t for Lara-Foreman getting the jump on Friday, this would ACTUALLY be a great way to start 2017. BLH will have live coverage.
TyC Sports (ARG), 10:00 pm ET, Adrian Luciano Veron vs Ramon de la Cruz Sena.
Azteca (MEX), 11:30 pm ET, Carlos Ocampo vs Daniel Echevarria.
