Nearly a year after his unsuccessful title bid against Jermall Charlo, Julian Williams will dip his toe back into the super welterweight waters against Ishe Smith in the headlining out of a November 18th PBC on Bounce show.

Williams (23-1-1, 15 KO) simply could not handle Charlo’s power, ultimately getting stanky-legged by a vicious uppercut in five. In June, he got back in the win column with a stoppage of Joshua Conley on the undercard of Robert Easter Jr. vs. Denis Shafikov.

Smith (29-8, 12 KO), the former IBF champion, has not fought since taking a majority decision over Frank Galarza two Septembers ago on another Bounce show. He’s 3-1 since his one-sided loss to Erislandy Lara, dropping a majority decision to Vanes Matirosyan in 2015.

The card will also feature Lionell Thompson (18-4, 11 KO) against unbeaten Earl Newman (10-0-1, 7 KO), plus former Olympic silver medalist Tugstsogt Nyambayar (8-0, 8 KO) taking on Xavier Martinez (10-0, 6 KO).
