This afternoon from Stuttgart, Germany, Chris Eubank Jr faces Avni Yildirim in the second of four quarterfinal matchups in the World Boxing Super Series super middleweight tournament.
Live coverage is set to begin at 1:45 pm ET on ITV Box Office in the UK, and you can also watch on Super Channel in Canada, SAT.1 in Germany, Audience in the United States, and in some places, you can stream live on WorldBoxingSuperSeries.com.
The main event will likely start around 5 pm ET, but it would be wise to check in earlier to see where the card is at.
Eubank (25-1, 19 KO) is the favorite here, but Yildirim (16-0, 10 KO) remains a bit of an unknown, and there is some mystery about what he really brings to the table at this level. The winner of this fight moves on to the semifinal, where he will await the winner of the October 14 fight between WBA titleholder George Groves and Jamie Cox, which will take place in London.
Obviously, organizers are hoping for a big UK showdown between Groves and Eubank, arguably the two biggest names in the field, but Yildirim and Cox will look to upset those plans. Yildirim gets the first crack today.
