This is it! As Miguel Cotto (41-5, 33 KOs) prepares for the final fight of his career where he’ll take on Sadam Ali (25-1, 14 KOs) at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 2, he hosts his final open workout. And as such, this is a pretty lengthy one.
Cotto will go into this fight under the guidance of Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach, who he has teamed up with for the final stretch of his career, and Roach has made a concerted effort to turn Cotto back into the monster left hooker he was known as in his younger days.
Check out the video above to get a glimpse at the condition Cotto is in before his final fight. He runs nearly the entire gamut of training exercises in this open workout and will most certainly be looking to end his career with notable performance against Ali, who will be moving up in weight for this opportunity in an HBO main event.
