Guess what?! Rumors of a potential Floyd Mayweather comeback are still swirling with TMZ now reporting that Floyd “has been telling people close to him that he's considering a 51st fight -- and he's been training like a maniac in the gym.”

I know, I know. We’ve been here many times before and the ‘will he/won’t he’ can get pretty nauseating. But in all those previous instances Floyd did ultimately return from ‘retirement’ to fight once again. Might this just be more of the same?

Floyd himself has fueled most, if not all, of this speculation as he’s posted several training videos of himself on social media recently. And the oh-so-media-savvy Floyd Mayweather hasn’t been known to do such things “just because.”

Anyway, sources close to Floyd supposedly say the future Hall of Famer is still in fighting shape and ready to rock n’ roll, but Showtime executive Stephen Espinoza says he hasn’t heard anything definitive on a Floyd comeback — nor does he think a potential rematch with Conor McGregor is going to happen, at least not in the immediate future.

That said, it’s Floyd’s world and we’re all just living in it. So we’ll just have to wait and see where this goes...
