In this latest installment of Hey Harold!, the longtime HBO commentator gives his quick and dirty breakdown of this weekend’s main event between middleweights Daniel Jacobs and Luis Arias. Check out what he has to say...
“On November the 11th at the Nassau County Coliseum, on Long Island in New York, Danny Jacobs is coming back to fight Luis Arias from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Danny Jacobs, from Brooklyn, New York, call him ‘The Miracle Man.’ The reason they call him ‘The Miracle Man’ is he had osteosarcoma — he had cancer — which was a tumor wrapped around his spine.
“He survived the osterosarcoma and they said he’d never fight again. Danny Jacobs is a very good fighter. He gave Gennady Golovkin a very tough fight.
“Luis Arias is a very, very interesting fighter. He comes from Milwaukee, Wisconsin — that was a great fight town years ago. [He] Came to the press conference and he raised hell. Very, very good prospect, good chin. So I’m excited about Danny Jacobs being back in the ring. I’m excited about Luis Arias because of the fact that he’s a kid on the way up. This should be a good night of boxing.”
