Tyson Fury must be feeling good now that U.K. Anti-Doping has reached an agreement that will allow him to reapply for his boxing license. It shows because the former heavyweight titlist just released a video of him smiling, shadowboxing(?), and dissing both the British Boxing Board of Control and Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn on Instagram.
He does so with his cover version of Eminem’s “Without Me” track...
“So the BBBoC won’t let me be, or let me be me, so let me see, they try to shut me down on sports TV, but it feels so empty without me!
“...get ready, ‘cause this shit about to get heavy, I just settled all my lawsuits, so fuck you Eddie!”
Since settling with UKAD, the BBBoC general secretary Robert Smith says his organization won’t consider re-licensing Fury until at least January, much to the chagrin of Fury. So Fury has threatened that he may not even seek to be licensed by the BBBoC, saying he has many other options in a since-deleted post.
"I've not held a BBBofC boxing licence since I fought Klitschko two years ago. Who knows? I might not even go back with the British Boxing Board of Control.
"Get it out of your mind that it's cemented that I'll be going with you guys because I have a vast array of boards of control around the world with open arms welcoming (to me)," said Fury.
Expect this show between Fury and the BBBoC to carry on for at least a while longer.
