We won’t have to wait long for the most violent of the World Boxing Super Series semifinals. Cruiserweight knockout artists Murat Gassiev and Yunier Dorticos are officially set to duke it out on February 3rd in Sochi, Russia.

Gassiev (25-0, 18 KO), the youngest member of the cruiserweight field at 24, has scored the knockout in nine of his last ten wins, with only Denis Lebedev surviving the distance. It took him just three rounds to demolish Krzysztof Wlodarczyk in the quarterfinals, scoring a brutal body shot knockout in Newark.

Dorticos (22-0, 21 KO) had a considerably easier time than expected with Dmitry Kudryashov in September, outslugging the Russian en route to a second-round stoppage. Both he and Gassiev have proven that they can take it as well as they can dish it out, making this a must-watch fight.

Early predictions? This has Fight of the Year written all over it.
