Vasyl Lomachenko’s Full Media Workout

Lomachenko displays his current form just a couple days before taking on Guillermo Rigondeaux.

As fight week rolls on, Vasyl Lomachenko took his turn holding an open media workout ahead of Saturday’s title fight against Guillermo Rigondeaux. Loma’s full open session can be viewed here thanks to Fight Hub TV.

In the video you can watch Lomachenko loosen up before jumping some rope and doing some light shadowboxing exercises. He then takes to the heavy bag for a few before then going to the double-end bag where he works on his rhythm and accuracy.

Lomachenko will be putting his WBO junior lightweight world title on the line this Saturday night in a Top Rank on ESPN main event. And while Rigondeaux will be moving up to take this fight, he has his WBA junior featherweight title at stake too, as the sanctioning body made a special exemption for him to make this fight happen.

The fight will be a boxing first, with two, two-time Olympic Gold medalists going head-to-head. And considering boxing’s long, long history, any first time event is a pretty big deal.
