Floyd Mayweather is now saying he’s got no deal to fight Conor McGregor — or anyone else.

It’s quite the wild day for Mayweather-McGregor talk, and we’ve got yet another update. After ESPN reported that Floyd Mayweather said the fight was “very, very close” to a done deal, UFC’s Dana White said that there is “no deal.” And now Mayweather has tweeted that there isn’t a deal made, and that he is “happily retired.”

Here’s the text of what Mayweather tweeted:

“There seems to be several rumors floating around media recently however, let the record show, there hasn’t been any deals made in regards to a fight between myself and any other fighters. I am happily retired and enjoying life at this time. If any changes are to come, be sure that I will be the first to let the world know.”

So there you have it, for the next few hours, at least. Mayweather-McGregor is not a done deal, not a close-to-done deal, and if anything, is a no deal.

Alright, see you tomorrow or whenever for more on this developing (non?) story!
