Broner-Granados streaming live on Twitter tonight

For the first time ever, a boxing event will be streamed live on Twitter.

Scott Christ is the managing editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2006.

Tonight’s Showtime tripleheader, headlined by the welterweight clash between Adrien Broner and Adrian Granados, will be streamed live on Twitter by Showtime.

The fight is also airing on Showtime, of course, and this is a free preview weekend for the network, so if you’re not a normal subscriber, you can also catch all the action live on your TV, like a normal person.

The live stream will begin at 9 pm ET, as will the TV broadcast. If you’re just flat out unable to watch, or just want to follow along with the banter, don’t forget that we’ll have live coverage of all three bouts (including David Avanesyan vs Lamont Peterson and Marcus Browne vs Thomas Williams Jr), plus plenty of front page action during and after the fights, as well.

Join us tonight! You have almost no reason not to now! Except that it’s Saturday and maybe you’re “socializing,” like some big wheel.
