Bute vs Alvarez: Live streaming results and round-by-round coverage

Bute (32-3-1, 25 KO) and Alvarez (21-0, 10 KO) are meeting in a WBC light heavyweight title eliminator, with a shot at Adonis Stevenson on the line.

36-year-old Bute, a former super middleweight titleholder, is just 2-3-1 in his last six fights, but his popularity keeps him in the mix for fights like this, and a draw with WBC super middleweight titleholder Badou Jack last time out helps his case, too, controversial or not. Alvarez, 33, has been treading water for a bit, waiting for a fight like this one. Now it’s here.
