Welterweight Josesito Lopez (34-7, 19 KOs) returns to action April 9th in a PBC on FS1 card where he’ll take on Saul Corral (22-8, 13 KOs) in a scheduled 10-rounder. ESPN reports the fight will be held at The Novo at L.A. Live according to promoter Richard Schaefer, who will be officially putting on the show.

Lopez, 32, has fought only once since early 2015 when he took a loss from Andre Berto in a fun action fight. Truthfully, Lopez is never in a bad fight so we should be able to expect some more fireworks next month.

"I'm excited to get back in the ring as the main event and put on a show for the fans in Los Angeles," Lopez said. "I'm looking for a world title shot and I believe I have the skills to beat any welterweight out there. This is going to be a great night of fights from start to finish. I've been training like never before and I can't wait to show everybody."

Corral, 30, isn’t all that highly regarded and is coming off a decision loss to Sadam Ali last September on the Canelo-Smith undercard. He’ll be in a little deep here but he’s excited for opportunity.

"I can't wait to get in the ring and make the most of this opportunity to make a name for myself," Corral said. "I've been training hard to be ready for anything Josesito brings. It's going to be an exciting fight, but I'm prepared to leave everything in the ring and get the victory."

Serving as the co-feature for the main even will be lightweight Alejandro Luna (21-0, 15 KOs) taking on Andrey Klimov (19-3, 9 KOs) in another scheduled 10-rounder.

The card will also host the professional debuts of four Olympian prospects: lightweights Carlos Balderas and Lindolfo Delgado; middleweight Misael Rodriguez; and welterweight Eimantas Stanionis - all of whom have been signed to Schaefer’s Ringstar Sports promotional outfit.
