It’s another short weekend, but with some decent fights.

Friday, March 10

SHO, 10:00 pm ET, Claressa Shields vs Szilvia Szabados, Antonio Nieves vs Nikolay Potapov, James Smith vs Joshua Greer Jr, Wesley Tucker vs Edward Williams. Pretty typical ShoBox card other than the fact that we’ve got Claressa Shields headlining, which is a big thing and a very welcome change of pace. Shields has star quality and great talent, and she’s not even quite at what should be her prime years as a fighter, either. She’s a great prospect and deserves to headline this show from Detroit. BLH will have live coverage.

UniMás, 11:00 pm ET, Andy Vences vs Angel Hernandez.

Saturday, March 11

RAN.de, 4:15 pm ET, Jack Culcay vs Demetrius Andrade. Culcay is defending the WBA “world” junior middleweight title against former WBO titleholder Andrade, and for now this fight is indeed actually happening, and will stream live at RAN.de. BLH may have live coverage.

HBO, 11:00 pm ET, David Lemieux vs Curtis Stevens, Yuriorkis Gamboa vs Rene Alvarado. This one has sort of flown under the radar, considering it’s two fun to watch power punchers in the main event. Well, sometimes Stevens is fun to watch. Sometimes not so much. But Lemieux consistently entertains, I’d say. The Gamboa fight is kind of a “whatever,” really, as he’s back against a fighter he should beat easily if he’s got much of anything left in the tank. BLH will have live coverage.
