Gervonta Davis challenges Adrien Broner to fight

Well, it’s been a pretty eventful couple of days for Gervonta Davis. Not only was Davis just recently spotted getting into a confrontation with contender Tevin Farmer, but now he’s on social media calling out Adrien Broner for a fight.

It’s not completely clear what precipitated this new feud as Davis and Broner had been good friends for a number of years. In fact, if I recall correctly, Davis actually ended up signing with Floyd Mayweather’s TMT outfit after meeting Floyd through Broner. But I suppose whatever goodwill there was between Davis and Broner is gone now and Broner hasn’t taken Davis’ call out too kindly, even taking aim Mayweather himself (again).

Davis would then post a screenshot of his conversation with Broner which suggested the two might not be able to wait until they sign contracts to settle their dispute.

Wherever all of this is going, it’s becoming increasingly clear that the new IBF champion won’t have any shortage of notable fights lined-up for the near future...
