In this video interview caught by FightHub, Vasyl Lomachenko talks about who he thinks the top three pound-for-pound fighters in the world are at this point in time while also giving some thoughts about how fighters need to convincingly beat the champion for them to become one themselves.
Lomachenko on his list for top 3, pound-for-pound:
"Triple G, Kovalev, and Terence Crawford."
On if he thinks Golovkin should still be #1 after having a close fight with Daniel Jacobs:
"Yeah, I think it was a very close fight but, you know, if you want to beat the champion you need to dominate all fight. It looks like my fight with Salido. It's the same."
On if that fight also reminded him of Kovalev-Ward:
"Yeah, I remember. But you know who was the champion in this fight - Kovalev was the champion. If you want to be a champion you need to dominate it all fight."
