Terence Crawford put on a exhibition tonight and showed that there aren’t too many fighters out there who can match his talent level. Tonight he completely dominated Felix Diaz, wiping him out on the scorecard before eventually forcing Diaz’s corner to throw in the towel after the 10th, after Diaz had already taken an awful beating.
After the fight HBO’s Max Kellerman asked Crawford if he fought southpaw for the entire fight against Diaz to make a point, to which Crawford responded, “I came out southpaw ‘cause I do what I want in there, it’s my ring.”
Then, when asked what fighters out there could really push him to his potential, Crawford said, “Pacquiao. That’s the only fight out there that we really looking for, if not, Indongo here, he came to my fight.”
Crawford also went on to mention Keith Thurman as somebody he’d be willing to move up and fight, and the thought of that opens up all kinds of intriguing possibilities for Crawford going forward.
