In combination with Sky Sports’ promotional video on Errol Spence Jr., the network has also released an installment focused on Kell Brook as he prepares to defend his welterweight title this weekend.
The video feature begins with Kell Brook offering up a fresh batch of “chocolate brownies” before taking a quick flash back to Spence’s fight against Gennady Golovkin last year. Brook recalls how his eye socket was broken and mentions how it’s now stronger than ever with an installed titanium plate.
Next we make a stop in Fuerteventura, where Kell Brook holds his training camp. There Brook goes through his paces with trainer Dominic Ingle and talks about the mental outlook he must maintain in order to hit the welterweight limit. We also get a little insight to Brook’s game plan as he and his trainer try to get acclimated to what Spence likes to do in the ring.
After training Brook talks about what it means to him to put on a great performance in front of his hometown crowd, saying he’s put a lot of pressure on himself but that it will only make him more locked-in on fight night.
