Former 118-pound champion Randy Caballero continues his super bantamweight campaign next month, taking on Colombian prospect Oscar Negrete in the main event of another Golden Boy on ESPN card.

Caballero (24-0, 14 KO), who headlined the series’ inaugural event with a decision over Jesus Ruiz in March, will be fighting for just the third time since 2014, having lost his belt on the scales in a planned defense against Lee Haskins. He’s still just 26 and, if he can keep his weight in check, has time to make another title run if he can get past Negrete.

“Jaguar” Negrete (16-0, 6 KO) will be fighting for the second time in under two months, having beaten Victor Ruiz on the undercard of Canelo Alvarez vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on the 5th of May. This will be the first ten-rounder of his four-year career.

Other members of the card include Lamont Roach Jr., Ryan Martin, KeAndre Gibson, and Genaro Gomez. None as yet have opponents.
