Light heavyweight prospect Dmitry Bivol once again did the job expected, as he dominated former title challenger Cedric Agnew en route to a fourth round stoppage on tonight’s Ward-Kovalev II pay-per-view card.

Bivol (11-0, 9 KO) is considered part of the near future of the light heavyweight division, a 26-year-old power puncher with good technical skills, developed in the Russian amateur system.

He showed no hesitation in this fight, taking the fight to Agnew (29-3, 15 KO), who mostly just covered up. Agnew was dropped in the opening round, and referee Russell Mora stopped the fight in the fourth, with Agnew really no longer even giving the illusion that he was competing in the fight.

Bivol landed 69 of 247 (28%) of his punches, including 49 of 95 (52%) power punches. Agnew landed a miserable 13 of 43 (30%) total punches, and an even sadder three of 11 (27%) of his power shots.
