Friday, June 30

Bounce, 9:00 pm ET, Robert Easter Jr vs Denis Shafikov, Julian Williams vs Joshua Conley. This is a solid main event, pitting strong young titleholder Easter against veteran challenger Shafikov. Shafikov has never gotten over the hump — losing title shots against Miguel Vazquez and Rances Barthelemy — but at worst he’s someone you can’t take lightly. Williams is making his return after his first pro loss. BLH will try to have live coverage — depending on Bounce stream.

ESPN2, 10:00 pm ET, Oscar Negrete vs Sergio Frias. Pretty much your average Golden Boy Boxing on ESPN thing. This was supposed to be Negrete against Randy Caballero, far more interesting, but it’s not.

Saturday, July 1

Sky Sports (UK), 2:30 pm ET, Frank Buglioni vs Ricky Summers. Not the biggest Sky card, but Buglioni headlines the O2 in London in a British light heavyweight title defense against Summers. Some Olympians and other prospects fill out the card.

ESPN / BoxNation (UK) / PPV (AUS), Super Channel (CAN), 9:00 pm ET, Manny Pacquiao vs Jeff Horn. Gonna be really weird watching Manny Pacquiao on ESPN after all these years with HBO and HBO PPV (and the one off with SHO PPV against Mosley, which I mention a lot because it sticks out in my head for various reasons). But it’s nice to see Top Rank considering a real move to get their fighters seen by a wider audience. Listen, I like the HBO broadcasts, I like their team, I think they do a better job overall than anyone else, but ESPN opens up the casual “hey, what’s on TV?” market to a lot more people. This is a four-fight bill, featuring Michael Conlan and Shane Mosley Jr in action, plus Jerwin Ancajas defending the IBF super flyweight title against Teiru Kinoshita.

Televisa (MEX), 11:00 pm ET, Roberto Ortiz vs Diego Cruz.
