Manny Pacquiao and Jeff Horn are set for tomorrow night’s WBO welterweight title fight at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia, as the two fighters hit the scales today and made weight.
Pacquiao (59-6-2, 38 KO) weighed in at 146 pounds, with Horn (16-0-1, 11 KO) right at the limit of 147. Pacquiao remains the clear favorite, both with bettors and boxing fans and media, with home fighter Horn the obvious underdog.
Pacquiao regained the WBO title last November with a one-sided decision win over Jessie Vargas, while Horn is coming off of a TKO-6 win in December against Ali Funeka, a faded former lightweight contender.
In the IBF super flyweight title fight, defending titleholder Jerwin Ancajas (26-1-1, 17 KO) weighed in at 114 pounds, with challenger Teiru Kinoshita (25-1-1, 8 KO) at 115, the limit for the fight.
The fights — along with appearances by Michael Conlan and Shane Mosley Jr — will air on ESPN in the United States, BoxNation in the United Kingdom, Super Channel in Canada, and Main Event PPV in Australia on Saturday night (US time).
