Manny Pacquiao is the clear favorite for tomorrow’s fight in Australia against Jeff Horn, though the odds have come down significantly from their opening.
Pacquiao, 38, opened at a -1000 line, with Horn, 29, at +650. The lines have narrowed since then, with most major sportsbooks now listing Pacquiao (59-6-2, 38 KO) between -550 and -650, and Horn (16-0-1, 11 KO) at +400 to +450.
None of this means anything more than the sportsbooks are trying to make the most money they can, of course, but it’s a thing to talk about. In all reality, Pacquiao being -1000 to start was entirely reasonable.
In the co-feature, Jerwin Ancajas (26-1-1, 17 KO) is the favorite over Teiru Kinoshita (25-1-1, 8 KO), also expected. Ancajas, 25, is defending the IBF super flyweight title, and his odds have actually widened, opening at -1667 and now coming in anywhere between -2000 and -3200, with Kinoshita between +900 and +1600.
