Boxing fight times and TV schedule for June 9-11

A light weekend for boxing, but with a few notable shows.

Friday, June 9

SHO, 10:30 pm ET, Regis Prograis vs Joel Diaz Jr. This is a really good ShoBox main event, two legitimate prospects, both undefeated, at 140 pounds. The rest of the lineup is standard ShoBox stuff, but this main event is worth tuning in to see, or at least recording, what with the late start time. BLH will have live coverage.

Saturday, June 10

Sky Sports (UK), 3:00 pm ET, Lee Haskins vs Ryan Burnett. Haskins is defending his IBF bantamweight title against unbeaten Burnett, a domestic champion and hometown fighter in Belfast. It’s not a huge world title fight, but it’s a world title fight.

Sunday, June 11

FS1, 10:30 pm ET, Brandon Rios vs Aaron Herrera, Mario Barrios vs Jose Luis Rodriguez. This is Rios’ first fight since 2015, when he was blitzed by Tim Bradley and pretty much taken apart by a high level fighter. Rios is with a new trainer and currently without a promoter, but this is a PBC show. If he impresses, he’ll get a shot with someone. If he doesn’t, well, that’s the other option. BLH will have live coverage.
