Mayweather-McGregor: Dana White apologizes for Brooklyn “sh-t show”

Dana White says if he were running the promotion to this fight it would be done much differently.

Following yesterday’s fiasco of a press conference, one which started over two hours late — pissing off an already grumpy bunch of New Yorkers, UFC president Dana White took to Instagram to apologize for what we all witnessed.

“Thank u so much Brooklyn, NY!!!” White wrote. “So sorry about the #shitshow It’s not my show or it would be run WAAAAAY different. Thanks for always supportin.”

Yesterday’s presser has been drawing terrible reactions for it’s perceived misogyny and racism, not to mention just a terrible performance all around from both fighters. The fans at the Barclays weren’t at all impressed, and it showed from the opening set where we had to witness Doug E. Fresh awkwardly dance to other people’s music while the thousands in attendance sat quietly in their seats.

Today’s London presser might be a different story...or it just might be more of the same. I suppose we’ll find out in just a few hours.
