All six fighters are set for tomorrow night’s HBO Boxing After Dark tripleheader from The Forum in Inglewood, California, where we’ll see two 130-pound world titles on the line.
In the main event, Miguel Berchelt (31-1, 28 KO) will defend his WBC super featherweight title against former titleholder Takashi Miura (31-3-2, 24 KO). Both fighters weighed in at 129.2 pounds, below the 130-pound limit.
The co-feature will see WBA title defended by Jezreel Corrales (21-1, 8 KO) in his U.S. debut, as he takes on veteran Robinson Castellanos (24-12, 14 KO). Corrales weighed in at 129.6 pounds, with Castellanos at 129.4.
But the best fight of the night might be the opener, where no world title is on the line, but two light heavyweight contenders take a risk. Joe Smith Jr (23-1, 19 KO) will face Sullivan Barrera (19-1, 14 KO), with a minor WBC title at stake. Smith weighed in at 174.6, with Barrera at 173.4, both under the 175-pound limit.
