Broner vs Garcia: Live streaming results and round by round coverage

Adrien Broner takes on Mikey Garcia in an intriguing matchup at 140 pounds.

Amanda Westcott/SHOWTIME

Tonight at 9 pm ET on Showtime, Adrien Broner will take on Mikey Garcia in a big junior welterweight main event, live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, headlining a doubleheader of action.

Broner (33-2, 24 KO) is looking for what would be a career-best win, and would probably turn back some detractors in the process after losses to Marcos Maidana and Shawn Porter, both at welterweight. Garcia (36-0, 33 KO) is looking to up his stock in the biggest fight of his career, as he moves up in weight after a brief stint at lightweight following a lengthy absence from the sport.

In the co-feature, former junior middleweight titleholder Jermall Charlo (25-0, 19 KO) moves up to the 160-pound division to take on Argentina’s Jorge Heiland (29-4-2, 16 KO). It’s a should-win for Charlo — not that Heiland is a pushover, but he’s not considered a top middleweight, either. He has won eight in a row, though largely against mediocre opposition.
