In this training video, FightHub catches some footage of Omar Figueroa getting prepared for his fight against Robert Guerrero on July 15. The fight will headline a PBC card on FOX, live from the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York.
Figueroa is training under the guidance of Joel Diaz as he’s most recently coming off of a unanimous decision victory over Antonio DeMarco back in December 2015. That being the case, Figueroa has been out of action for a year-and-a-half.
His opponent, Robert Guerrero, appears to be a quickly fading former titlist. He last dropped split decision to David Peralta last August and has lost four of his last six fights. Frankly speaking, the fact that he’s still headlining a major PBC card is a little bit of a head-scratcher, but he’ll be looking to rebound and get back on the right track.
All the action goes down next Saturday beginning at 8pm ET.
